Around 40 members of the Association des gens d’affaires d’Ormstown et des environs (AGAO+) participated in a networking event on June 17 that included a presentation on the business support and financing options available to entrepreneurs through the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent.
MRC prefect Louise Lebrun was present for the event, which took place at the Ormstown Legion hall. MRC director general Pierre Caza also participated in the gathering, as well as the MRC’s regional development coordinator, Réjean Lampron, who discussed the various opportunities for businesses and organizations within the Haut-Saint-Laurent.
The association includes over 60 members from the Ormstown business community as well as business owners from neighbouring communities. It regularly holds networking activities for members featuring pertinent guest speakers. More information on the AGAO+ can be found online at AGAO plus.com. (SR)
