The MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent will launch its silent auction of festive handmade ornaments on November 25. The sale will run until December 15.
The ornaments, created by local artists, showcase the diverse creative talent within the area. They will be on display near the Christmas tree in the lobby of the MRC’s offices in the Chateau building (10 King Street) in Huntingdon. Instructions for bidding will be posted there.
All funds raised through the auction will be donated to the La Bouffe Additionnelle food pantry, which provides food aid to those in need within the community. (SR)
