Birds of prey swoop into the Little Green Library

The Little Green Library in Huntingdon had some wild visitors on April 5 as Vanessa Beauregard of the Union Québécoise de Rehabilitation des Oiseaux de Proie (UQROP) introduced three groups of avid young birdwatchers to Saphir, an American kestrel, and Décibel, a broad-winged hawk. Along with the opportunity to see the birds up close, the hour-long interactive presentation allowed guests to touch different types of feathers and learn more about the birds of prey that call the Valley their home. The presentation was funded in large part by a generous donation from the Huntingdon Optimist Club.
