Thanks to everyone from the Ormstown Fire Department who came to help when a dead tree touching the powerlines started sending up smoke and little flames on Saint Jean Baptiste Day.
Thanks especially to Chief Knox for waiting with me for a hydro crew that never came. We’ve refiled our request to Hydro to get the tree cut. Hopefully, they’ll finally send someone before it actually catches fire so we don’t have to call you back.
It was actually nice to see you all but I’d much rather reconnect at a community event . . . like maybe a fundraising dance like OFD used to hold back in the ‘90s 😉
