Thank You, Chateauguay Valley Residents

Thank you, Chateauguay Valley residents for opening your arms and hearts to our family and all the other Ukrainian families that you have welcomed into your beautiful region. We arrived June 1st 2022 after a 3-month wait in Turkey for Canadian documents to arrive. Our mother joined us September 1st, 2022. Leaving our Ukrainian home was unthinkable in 2021 but your warm welcome has eased the burden of uprooting our family and made the transition as smooth as possible and a little less painful.

There are so many people that have helped in this necessary exodus. We can’t begin to individually thank you all, so this is our way of saying THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT.

We have received flights, housing, clothes, furniture, money, jobs, food, a car, and toys for our children. As well, assistance with language, navigating government sites, document translations to access schools, and transportation to appointments.  The list goes on and still grows as we enter our seventh month here. The friendships and bonds that have developed are deeply cherished.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

Спасибо, спасибо, и еще раз спасибо от всего сердца.

Sasha, Elvina, Marina, Alana and Uliana
