The residents at the Centre d’Hebergement Ormstown (CHO) came together over the holiday season to organize a food drive in support of the region’s most vulnerable families.
Over several days in December, the residents actively participated in the initiative. Some took part by contributing non-perishable food items, while others helped to sort donations and prepare boxes. Once completed, the boxes were delivered to members of the community as part of the annual food drive organized by the Ormstown Lions Club.
The initiative was part of an integrative project coordinated by special education technician intern Stéphanie Guimont and the recreation department at the CHO. The residents are proud to have made a meaningful difference in their community.
