Community builder Maynard receives honours

Ormstown resident Hugh Maynard was presented with the inaugural Community Builder Award from the Regional Development Network (RGN) in early May. The award recognizes his long list of contributions to English-speaking communities across Quebec.

Maynard is the publisher of The Gleaner, and is founder of Qu’Anglo Communications and Consulting. He started his career as the executive director of the Quebec Farmers’ Association, was founding president of the Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) and was instrumental in developing the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN) and the RGN.
