In her home, on February 10, 2023, at the age of 91,
Jeannine D’Amours departed for her last voyage
surrounded by love, and dignity.
Wife of the late John McAleer, and, for the last 58 years, of her beloved Claude Verreault, she was dearly loved by her children Christine McAleer (Jean-Claude), Diane McAleer (William), Daniel McAleer (the late Anne, Silvie), Pierre Verreault (Francine), Claude Jr. Verreault (Mélanie) and Chantal Verreault.
Jeannine was a grandmother, grandma and loving mamie, adored by her grandchildren Richard Jr. and the late Natalie; Lee; Nicholas and Christopher; Geneviève, Jonathan, Xavier and Liam; Émilie, Érika, Lidia and Audrey; Jessica, Jayven and Ash.
It was an immense joy for her to get to know her great-grandchildren Tristan, Marco and Cathy; Benjamin and David; also Durrani, as well as her great-great-grandchildren Megan, Tyrion and Gadriel.
Beloved aunt of Ginette, Micheline, Michel, Roger, the late Nicole, Élyse and Guy Jr. D’Amours, she also leaves behind numerous McAleer nieces and nephews, and some very special friends.
Her passing causes great sadness and a huge void in our hearts, but Jeannine leaves us also with many unforgettable memories.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1p.m. followed by a celebration of Jeannine’s life at 3p.m. at the Village Church, 52 Lambton Street, Ormstown, QC.
