Dreams and realities

Hello Nanette,

Have you ever had an encounter with a UAP or a UBE? Thank you.

Jacob R.

Hi Jacob,

Well, first of all, before I answer your question, I will explain to some of our readers, who may not be familiar with those terms, what they actually mean. “UAP” stands for Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, and “UBE” stands for Unidentified Biological Entity. To answer your question, I don’t think I have had an encounter as such… but I can’t be sure.

What do we believe or not believe? There is so much controversy over this subject. We don’t hear anything about all this on CNN or CTV, or Fox or CBS, NBC, or any of the well-known television networks or news broadcasts.

The subject of extraterrestrials is mostly talked about on the internet, through blogs that talk about what they are not telling us. There is so much negative information out there that is fear-based that I have decided not to give it power by thinking about it. As we know, the number one way to control people is through fear.

Anyway, until I actually see one in front of me and shake its hand, it won’t be a part of my reality. I do, though, have a story to tell about an unexplainable experience I had.

It was a long time ago, thirty-seven years to be exact. My son was just a baby, sleeping in his little carrier next to my bed. I was taking advantage of the time while he was asleep, to lay down and take a little afternoon nap.

I don’t think I had been in bed long; I know I was not awake but not asleep yet. I read that the time between those two states is called Hypnagogia which is the transition between wakefulness and sleep. During this state, it’s common to experience visual, audio, or other types of hallucinations. Some people purposely try to induce hypnagogia to stimulate creativity.

Maybe that’s what I did unconsciously. That could explain the experience I had.

In one moment, just before falling into a deep sleep, I felt like my body weighed a ton and I was sinking into the mattress. The next thing I felt was that I was being transported somehow and then placed on a hard table. I knew I wasn’t in my room, and I didn’t want to open my eyes, afraid of what I would see. But curious as I was, I just squinted them open very tightly and I saw different coloured lights all around the room.

I saw three tall white beings standing by the table, and in my head I could hear one say, “Don’t be afraid. We won’t hurt you.” The next thing I felt was a feeling like I was jettisoned down a long chute or tube. I stopped in front of a door, which I opened, and there I was in the lobby of the Channel 12 television station lobby.

Sounds crazy, huh? It certainly does to me! But it is a very vivid memory to this day, thirty-seven years later. Was I dreaming? It seemed so real at the time.

I dream every night and I usually always remember my dreams, or at least bits and pieces of them – like how I remember my past, in bits and pieces. For many years I kept a book of the dreams I had. Some nights it would be like I was watching a full-length movie.

Some of my dreams were beautiful, some were funny, and some were really scary, like some of the actual moments in my life.

I ask myself, what is the difference between dreams and reality? … Are our dreams just another reality we live, while our bodies are in a sleep state? … Okay, okay, I won’t go there, haha!!
