Dwight Baird drawing benefits Little Green Library

A very lucky Lesle-Ann Hine of Ormstown met with Huntingdon-born artist Dwight Baird on December 16 at the Little Green Library, where she was presented with a lithograph print of one of his iconic paintings. The print, entitled White Water in a Small Town, features a view from across the Chateauguay River of the Henderson water mill in Huntingdon. Baird donated the print to the Huntingdon-based library following his retrospective exhibition at the Salle Culturelle Alfred-Langevin last April, to help raise funds for the organization. The Little Green Library was able to raise over $1,000 from the drawing, which took place on December 14. (SR)
