Several volunteer firefighters with the Franklin Fire Department were honoured for their years of dedicated service during the annual banquet held in late 2022. Fire chief Maxime Maheux presented Robert Ocenas with an honorary axe in recognition of his 40 years with the department. Firefighter Pierre Thomas (in red) received a commemorative plaque for his 22 years of service, while Patrick Tremblay and Andy Ocenas were also recognized for their 30 years of dedication and community involvement with the fire department.
