From the archives of the Heritage Treasures Museum: The Curlers Picnic

A very old photo of two rows of women,  standing behind, one holding a baby, and 7 sitting in front.
The Curlers Picnic had a fair attendance on Dominion Day July 2 1891 Baseball and other games were played which with the cool shade of the grove and the richly set tables made it an agreeable day for all The location of the picnic is what is now known as Greigs Grove and the annual Canada Day gathering that continues to this day is the continuation of the tradition started well over 100 years ago Do you see any of your ancestors listed here PHOTO Heritage Treasures Museum
