On June 22, students from across the Valley said farewell to their teachers and classmates as schools let out for the summer. Students boarded the buses a final time at Ormstown Elementary School as Alice Cooper’s School’s Out was blasted over the loudspeakers. As the buses pulled away, teachers waved a last goodbye from the front steps of the school. A similar send-off played out at Heritage Elementary in Huntingdon. (YLL)
