The Centre d’hébergement du comté de Huntingdon (CHSLD) has been busy over the last few weeks as several special activities have been organized for residents. On September 4, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) surprised residents with the temporary installation of a mini farm in the courtyard, including sheep, goats, and rabbits. The following day, classic car owners who regularly participate in the Vintage Car Meetup on Fridays in Huntingdon brought a little car show to the parking area outside the CHSLD. Then, on September 11, residents and their families were treated to a country corn roast. The event included volunteers from the Montérégie-West Community Network, as well as several volunteers, orderlies, and staff from the CHSLD who made sure residents took part in the fun, which included popcorn and cotton candy, live music, corn on the cob, and a decorated photo area.
