Kids experiment with science at the Little Green Library

PHOTO Sarah Rennie

Budding scientist Alexander Robert and his mother, Gabrielle, carefully conduct an experiment to learn first-hand about the water cycle. On June 3, the Little Green Library was transformed into a science laboratory for a special science workshop aimed at children, animated in both English and French by Les Neurones Atomiques. It was the latest in a series of diverse activities for families at the library, which features a children’s section and large collection of books for young readers in both English and French. Later in the day, the library also played host to a vernissage for an exhibition of artwork by Pat Walsh’s Huntingdon art class students. The exhibition will run until July 8. (SR)
