Students from the New Frontiers School Board’s Valley elementary schools gathered at Mario-Dumas Park in Ormstown for the annual track and field meet on June 4. Grades 4, 5, and 6 at Franklin, Gault Institute, Hemmingford, Heritage, Howick, and Ormstown elementary schools took part in nine events, including the 80- and 150-metre sprints, the 600-metre run, high jump, long jump, shot put, softball throw, turbo javelin, and the much-anticipated final events of the day: the relay races.
