On August 4, the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group’s (CVMG) motorcycle rally took place at the Pritchard farm on the Gore Road in Hinchinbrooke. The two-day event showcased vintage motorcycles and new motorcycles alike. After an absence of two years due to the pandemic, the rally returned to celebrate its 31st year. Recently, donations raised at the rally were presented by organizer Eric Pritchard on behalf of the CVMG. The money was distributed to the following charities: three donations of $2000 each went to the Montreal Childrens Hospital Foundation, the CHU Sainte-Justine, and the Barrie Memorial Hospital Foundation. La Bouffe Additionnelle, the Lucky Harvest Project, the Old Brewery Mission, and the CHUM Foundation each received $600. This year’s rally saw over 1000 visitors.
