Over 130 people from across the Montérégie West Community Network’s (MWCN) service territory gathered at the town hall in Tres-Saint-Sacrement on June 19 for the organization’s second annual World Cafe. Members were bused to the location, where they engaged in spirited conversations on various topics throughout much of the morning. Discussion points included issues such as belonging, the challenges around aging at home, and the different health, social, and cultural services that could be developed in the region. MWCN employees and community partners took part in animating the conversations. Members were provided with a lunch and were entertained throughout the afternoon by award-winning musician and music historian Rob Lutes. (SR)
