New role for Huntingdon MNA

Following the April 21 announcement of Quebec Premier Christine Frechette’s new cabinet of ministers, Huntingdon MNA Carole Mallette has once again been called upon to serve as a parliamentary assistant. She will now be working with Eric Girard, the minister responsible for infrastructure, who also serves as the minister of finance.

In a statement issued on social media, Mallette noted she was pleased with the appointment, saying Girard is “known for his rigor, his deep understanding of economic issues, and his ability to make thoughtful decisions in the nest interests of Quebecers.”
