On July 17, Ormstown’s Lindsay-Cullen Park was alive with people of all ages enjoying music and the party atmosphere of Parc en Fête Mockzone. Various activities were taking place under the shade of multiple tents. This event was sponsored by L’Antichambre, along with the Centre Intégré de Santé et Services Sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) and the municipality of Ormstown. Mocktails (nonalcoholic beverages) and smoothies were offered to visitors as well as popcorn, snack foods, and cotton candy. Les Toasters École de Planche, celebrating its 10-year anniversary, gave free demos and skateboard lessons. “This is our second year hosting this event. It is a way to reach out to teenagers and young adults,” said organizer Mélissa Aubin of CISSSMO.
