Wildlife photographer Peter Dahms was in the right place with camera in hand along the Rivière aux Outardes on December 18 to snap this photo of a playful pair of river otters. Dahms was especially excited to see the otters, noting this was the first time he had seen the mostly aquatic animals in the region.
