After a morning of Halloween activities Ormstown Elementary students and staff walked to the Ormstown mall on their annual Walk a ween The parade briefly stopped traffic as students from all grades strolled across town Businesses within the mall were ready to greet them and the excitement was palpable as shopkeepers generously distributed Halloween treats PHOTO Yvonne Lewis Langlois
Several families and organizations including the MRC du Haut Saint Laurent came together for a trunk or treat style event at École Arthur Pigeon high school in Huntingdon Local goblins and ghouls as well as wolves and butterflies enjoyed the one stop trick or treating PHOTO Sarah Rennie
