Saint-Anicet beach closed

The Jules-Léger Beach in Saint-Anicet has been temporarily closed by the Ministry of the Environment due to high bacteriological contamination. A water quality analysis of samples taken last week showed that the water at the beach did not meet the standards set by the ministry. As of press time, the beach had yet to be reopened; however, new water samples have been taken. Updates as to the quality of the water are posted regularly to the Saint-Anicet Facebook page. Please check before heading out to enjoy the beach.
