On November 19, 2022, the Ormstown Saracens Rugby Club gathered at the Ormstown Golf course to celebrate the 2022 season and give out the annual club awards.

After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the senior men’s and women’s players were overjoyed to be back on the field, especially considering 2022 marked the club’s 50th anniversary. Anniversary celebrations were held in June and were a wonderful reunion after two long years spent without our rugby family and its social events.

Due to low registration numbers, the Lady Saracens partnered with the Montreal Barbarians to field a complete team and had a successful season in Rugby Quebec’s provincial division 1.

The men’s side fielded a full Ormstown team thanks to strong recruitment efforts and returning veterans. Playing in provincial division 2, the men went 5-0-3, a strong relaunch for the young team.

The Saracens are recruiting for both the men’s and women’s teams for the 2023 season; no experience is required. Contact the Saracens on Facebook or at to join.
