On December 4 the residents of the Centre d’Hébergement Ormstown were treated to a holiday horse-drawn carriage ride. Thanks to a generous donation from the Ormstown Lions Club and a fundraising raffle at the Centre, the cost of the activity was completely covered.
Activities coordinator Beatrice Patenaude, along with a dedicated team of staff, families, and volunteers, spent the afternoon making sure the residents were kept toasty warm and felt the holiday cheer. After their carriage ride, the residents were treated to hot chocolate and ‘sucre à la crème.’ (Phylicia Brunette)
