Snowy fun during Franklin’s Winter Carnival

Periods of rain and freezing rain, mixed with unseasonably mild temperatures, did little to tame the enthusiasm of families out for some fun in the snow during the Municipality of Franklin’s Winter Carnival over the weekend of Jan. 24-26. An undeniable success, the three-day event was opened Friday with a torchlight walk and slide, and featured a spaghetti supper, outdoor activities including skating, sledding, and inflatable games, along with plenty of indoor activities for all ages as well.
