The MWCN is raffling off a stunning quilt

The Monteregie West Community Network (MWCN) is delighted to be raffling a beautiful doublesize handmade quilt, donated by the Quiltivators (the Huntingdon quilting group).

The Quiltivators are six to eight women who meet every Tuesday at the United Church in Huntingdon. The group has existed for more than 30 years. Each year, the Quiltivators donate a quilt to a different non-profit organization; it is then used to help generate funds within the chosen organization. MWCN is proud to be this year’s recipient.

The MWCN has been fortunate enough to display the quilt at several community events, such as the Huntingdon Fair, the Chateauguay Valley Antiques Association show, and the Havelock Fair.

The raffle tickets are $5 per ticket and can be purchased in any of the MWCN offices located inChateauguay, Hemmingford, Candiac, and Pincourt, as well as the Huntingdon Wellness Centre. The draw will take place on December 12. (Kim Wilson – MWCN)
