The annual memorial service at Christ Church cemetery in Franklin Centre (Route 202) is on Sunday, August 6, at 2 p.m.
HHW collection
The third collection of household hazardous waste (HHW) for MRC residents will take place on Saturday, August 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Franklin municipal garage, 1570 Route 202. Only household products will be accepted. Any agricultural, industrial, or commercial waste, tires, or medication will be refused. Further info can be found on the MRC website.

H’ford firemen make breakfast
The Hemmingford Fire Service Annual Breakfast takes place on Sunday, August 13 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire station (576 Route 202). Adults eat for $15; kids under 10, $5.
Concert for Ukrainian relief

Corn roast and dance in Saint-Chrys
There will be a corn roast, hot dogs and more, and a dance at the Saint-Chrysostome community centre (400 Rang St. Antoine) on Saturday, August 19, starting at 4:30 p.m., organized by the Club de l’age d’or de Saint-Chrysostome. $15 for members, $20 for non-members, and $10 for kids 12 and under.
