‘Let’s Visit our Seniors’

The Comité de concertation des aînés du Haut-Saint-Laurent with the Générations engagées project is holding the 8th edition of this challenge, to be held from June 1 to 30. Visit seniors as a family or in a group! You can contact senior centres to organize activities or chat with residents.

Huntingdon family party

This fundraiser for La Bouffe Additionelle takes place at 4 Lorne Street on Saturday, June 1, from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with popcorn, hot dogs, cotton candy, and activities for kids.

There will be a large item and branch disposal at the Saint-Chrysostome community centre (400 Rang St-Antoine) on Friday, June 7, from 8 a.m. until noon/1 to 4 p.m., and on Saturday, June 8, from 8 a.m. until noon/1 to 3 p.m. For residents only.

The Village Church of the Nazarene, Ormstown

…will be celebrating its 75th anniversary on Friday, June 14, at 7 p.m. with a Hymn Sing, fellowship, and refreshments. On Saturday, June 15 at 7 p.m. there will be an evening of comedy and stories, and on Sunday, June 16, at 10:30 a.m. guest Reverend Les McAusland will speak; potluck to follow. Everyone is welcome!
