Rhythm for kids at the LGL
There will be a children’s music workshop on Saturday, November 30, at the Little Green Library in Huntingdon (4 Lorne Street): learn gumboot, flamenco, beatbox, and more. Sessions are from 10:30 to 11 a.m. for children aged 3 to 6, and 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. for children aged 7 to 12. Reservations are required. For info, call 450 264-4872 or email pbv.lgl@gmail.com.
Last chicken dinner of 2024
On Saturday, November 30, the Hemmingford Legion will be serving its last chicken BBQ dinner of the year. Reservations only; call Lise Brown at 514-705-2192 by Friday, November 29. You get a great meal, all for only a $20 donation. Pick up from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Legion Hall (486 Champlain Street). The Legion thanks everyone for their support.

Turkey Bingo
Tres-Saint-Sacrement is holding Christmas Turkey Bingo on December 5, at 7 p.m. in the community hall (1180 Route 203). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a $20 admission cost and snacks for sale; funds collected go towards Christmas baskets.
Attention farmers
The Haut-Saint-Laurent MRC invites farmers who own silos or mural-friendly buildings to attend a presentation about the Haut-Saint-Laurent Silo Trail on December 5 at 1 p.m. in the LBA Agri-Culture Centre in the Ormstown fairgrounds. The Village Church (52 Lambton) is holding a Christmas dinner, and all are welcome. It’s at 5 p.m. on December 7; admission is free.
Howick Santa Parade

Festive music
A Brysonville Christmas will be held at Georgetown Church on Saturday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. There is no charge for admission, but artists will have their merchandise available for purchase.
Linguistic hoops and loops
The Ormstown council meetings on December 9 and 11 will be also broadcast on YouTube, so those watching from home can activate English subtitles.
Mama Christmas
Mrs. Claus will be at Le Grenier De Zoë in Ormstown (55 Lambton Street) on December 14 from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be stories and surprises, and it’s free. It’s nice to see the missus stepping into the limelight, for once!
But Santa loves Lambton Street …
