Let’s plant sunflowers, the national flower of Ukraine, to honour its people and to remember their sacrifice and the horrific crimes that they are suffering.
First of all, sunflowers are beautiful. Also, sunflowers attract pollinators, something our planet desperately needs. Scientists warn that without pollinators, our world as we know it would be dead in forty years. Sunflowers attract birds, always a delight and a cheerful addition to our surroundings.
So, let’s make our Valley bloom!
