During the warmer months of the year, one of the many things Valley residents look forward to are the weekly vintage car meetups organized by Marc Villeneuve. These take place in Huntingdon and are a great way for vintage car owners and appreciators to bond over their shared interest and build new friendships. They also spend the season raising money for community organizations.
Summer may feel like it’s still a ways away, but Villeneuve also organized a winter meet on February 8 at the Huntingdon Legion where the results of the 2025 fundraisers were presented. Villeneuve says, “The fundraising included the sale of a calendar that I created with pictures that I took during our meets the previous year, 50/50 draws, and a few donations.” They were able to hand over a cheque for $1,650 to Résidence Elle, a women’s shelter in Huntingdon.
