Warning for parents about glass in park

Huntingdon resident Christina Fasoula posted a warning on Facebook, asking local parents to be aware that glass had been intentionally broken and spread across the water park in Prince-Arthur Park. A few days later, during the weekly Huntingdon County Farmers Market, Fasoula picked up another handful of glass shards from around the park benches. “It is vandalism, breaking glass in a playground,” says Fasoula, who is concerned someone could be badly hurt. “It is sad that we have to remind people to be human,” she laments, noting the park and its installations are for children. Following the incidents of broken glass, Fasoula suggests parents watch where their children are playing and ensure they are wearing shoes while enjoying the park, including the splash pad.
