‘Winter safari’ is now open in Hemmingford

Parc Safari has brought back its festive installation, ‘Féerie,’ in celebration of the Christmas season. The grounds have been transformed into four sparkling wonderlands, including ‘Magica,’ which features a holiday display, and ‘Foresta,’ highlighting giant-sized North American fauna such as bears, moose, wolves, and deer. ‘Arctica’ is a frozen world complete with polar bears, igloos, and penguins, while ‘Africa’ shines with giant sparkling lions, zebras, and ostriches.

The display includes more than 300,000 lights and 85 two-and three-dimensional illuminated structures. The activity is open between 4:30 and 8:30 p.m. every weekend until January 5. A Christmas market will also take place at the Place d’Afrique plaza, with Montérégie artisans who will be selling locally made products on December 13 to 15 and again on December 20 to 22. (SR)
