CHO Volunteer Committee
quilt raffle

The Centre d’Hébergement Ormstown (CHO) Volunteer Committee keeps spirits high year-round by providing activities and opportunities for residents. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it hasn’t been able to fundraise as it normally would and has had to get creative.
Jean Lawrence, whose husband is a CHO resident, has hand-sewn a beautiful quilt which she has generously donated to the volunteer committee to be raffled off to
raise money. She emphasizes the wonderful care her husband receives, and reminds us that organizations like the volunteer committee rely on donations to be able to keep up their efforts.
Tickets for the raffle started selling on September 1 and will be available until November 1. They cost $5 each, or $10 for three. Purchase tickets by contacting Heidi Rankin at hcrankin@gmail.com, 450-829-3039, or through Facebook Messenger. All proceeds raised from this raffle will go directly to funding more activities for the residents. (CF)
