BRAVO! to the Barrie Memorial Hospital

I felt extremely ill, so I called the 911 number. An ambulance and three people showed up. They were extremely helpful to me, and they made me feel secure and safe.

I was taken immediately to the emergency ward at the Barrie Memorial Hospital. I was put on a bed that was then wheeled into a private curtained-off space. I felt cared for.

A friendly nurse arrived and proceeded to take my vital signs. She was very professional, using her confident training skills to assess my medical needs. Her ability to multitask was very impressive, not to mention that her hands-on experience gave her the power to control the situation that I found myself in. I knew I was in safe hands.

I felt privileged to have been given the best of care.

The nurses were amazing. They were knowledgeable, and like a well-oiled team they tended to my needs with perfection.

The nurses at the Barrie Memorial Hospital emergency ward deserve to be recognized for their strong leadership qualities. They have received the best of training, and it serves our community well.

Thank you so very much for taking care of me, and so many others. I assure you that your conscientious hard work does not go unnoticed.
