Christmas came early in Huntingdon and Saint-Anicet

PHOTO Sarah Rennie

A cold chill in the air didn’t stop families from Huntingdon and the surrounding municipalities from lining up on December 10 for a chance to meet Santa and receive an early Christmas present, compliments of the Huntingdon Optimist Club. Sisters Khaleesi, Willow, and Aislyne Carrière were all smiles as they posed with Mr. Claus while happily holding their new treasures. The Club Optimiste de Saint-Anicet also called in a favour from the North Pole to secure a visit from Père Noël the following day on December 11, where children from Saint-Anicet and Dundee were equally treated to an early Christmas surprise.
