Claude DeBellefeuille holds holiday card art contest

Salaberry-Suroît MP Claude DeBellefeuille is launching an art contest to pick a piece for her 2021 holiday greeting card. The contest is open to all elementary school children attending school in the riding. The deadline to submit a holiday-themed piece of art is October 14.

“Last year, I received more than 300 drawings. I was amazed at the creativity, and I was able to create the most beautiful card of all the parliamentarians,” says Debellefeuille, who sends around 2,000 greeting cards within her riding and throughout Quebec.

The winning artist will not only have their drawing reproduced on the holiday greeting card, but their school will receive a $250 donation. Two other finalists will receive a $100 contribution for their school.

Students attending an elementary school in the riding of Salaberry-Suroît are therefore invited to submit their drawing by high resolution email to claude.debellefeuille@parl.gc.ca. An original drawing may also be delivered in person to the MP’s office, located at 106 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Street, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The winner and finalists will be announced in November.
