Community comes together for Father Gabriel Clement

Father Gabriel Clément welcomed his 90th year with a celebration that united hearts and spirits.

The joyous occasion commenced with mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Huntingdon where the community came together, followed by a free breakfast on April 7 attended by approximately 375 guests. The delectable spread included pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, beans, deviled eggs, charcuterie platters with cheese, an assortment of fruit, and, of course, a magnificent birthday cake.

The event was a true testament to the spirit of unity and generosity that infuses our community. Volunteers, including devoted members of St. Joseph’s and other local churches, came together to orchestrate the festivities. The esteemed Bishop of Valleyfield, Mgr. Noël Simard, presided over the tribute mass, offering a moving tribute to Father Clement’s enduring contribution.
