Families from the municipalities of Howick and Très-Saint-Sacrement gathered in Salaberry Park on August 17 for a fun-filled Family Day activity. The baseball field was lined with around 20 kiosks featuring produce and products from local producers and artisans, while children enjoyed sweet treats, inflatable games, face painting, and a variety of skill-testing games. The event featured an open mic on the main stage throughout the afternoon, where a lineup including at least seven local artists, such as singer-songwriter Noah Tolhurst, played to an appreciative multigenerational crowd. The activity also featured an evening screening of Disney’s Coco, before culminating with a fireworks display after dusk. (SR)
