First babies of the year

The first baby of the year at Chateauguays Anna Laberge Hospital was baby Ludovic who arrived early on the morning of January 3 PHOTO CISSSMO

On January 1, Le Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Ouest (CISSSMO) announced the arrival of the first baby of the year in the Montérégie-Ouest region. The little boy, James Carrière, was born at the Hôpital du Suroît in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield at 10:39 p.m., weighing in at seven pounds 10 ounces. He was delivered by Dr. Roy-Morency and her team. 

As for Chateauguay’s Anna Laberge Hospital, the first birth of 2023 was baby Ludovic, who entered the world on January 3. He arrived at 2 a.m. to proud parents Charlie and Alexis, with the help of Dr. Caroline Lavoie and her team. (CF)
