From the archives of the Heritage Treasures Museum: Sugaring off in Riverfield

James McKell’s maple bush on the Australian concession (now the Rang 5) in Riverfield had a big run in 1914. A call was sent out to neighbours to help collect the sap, and many came to assist. Seen here are Wesley Orr, Jean Orr, Mayford Hooker, Marjory Templeton, May Keir, with John McKell on horseback. Perhaps readers can identify other individuals in the photo.
