Tryston Leroux Irving won the Outstanding prize for his depiction of ‘Grandma’s Garden’ in this year’s home and garden division at Expo Ormstown. This was a new section that challenged participants to imagine and create ‘Grandma’s Garden’ on a painted section of plywood or sturdy base. The garden had to include one or two pieces of garden equipment, a similar number of garden structures, some fencing, and a selection of animals, such as a cat or dog, some bunnies or birds. (SR)
