MEMBERS ORANGE LODGE ON PICNIC [sic]; Successful Havelock Event Was Attended by Many Prominent Officials: The Orange Lodges of Huntingdon County held their annual July 12th picnic on the Havelock Fair Grounds.

Marching to the music of the fife and drum band from the lodge rooms, the members were greeted by a large crowd which had assembled on the grounds for a sumptuous dinner.

At two o’clock the Provincial Grand Chaplain, Rev. T.F. Duncan,of Franklin Centre, who acted as chairman, called the meeting to order and introduced a number of speakers… . During the afternoon a baseball game was played between Rockburn and Hemmingford, the former team securing a 10-3 victory. The proceeds from the dinner and sale of refreshments netted about $100.
