Huntingdon Huskies take championship in Valleyfield

The Huntingdon Huskies M11 A team gained top honours during the Braves Desjardins M11 and M13 provincial hockey tournament, which took place between November 17 and 19 in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. The Huskies played a perfect tournament, winning all three of their games before meeting the Drummondville Voltigeurs in the final on Sunday. Huntingdon won the final handily with a decisive score of 5-1. Chloe Tannahill and Etienne Quevillion of the Huskies were ranked as the two top players in the tournament in their division. Quevillion scored three goals in the final and earned an assist on one of two goals scored by Tannahill. (SR)
