The third in a series of special events planned to mark the 200th anniversary of the town of Huntingdon took place on July 5 at the park on Russell Island. A full day of family-friendly activities took place free of charge with inflatable games, a foam cannon, kayaking, face-painting, and festive music. A fourth bicentennial celebration is scheduled to take place on August 30 at the fairgrounds and will include games and activities for families, food trucks, live music, and fireworks. (SR)
