Ormstown Saracens to host market fundraiser

The Ormstown Saracens Rugby Club will be holding a fundraiser farmers’ market on June 15 at Chateauguay Valley Regional High School. The goal of the fundraiser is to introduce more people to the Saracens and the sport of rugby, and to support younger players by ensuring they have the right equipment.

The market is being coordinated by Jennifer Thiffault, who is the director of the Mini Saracens rugby program for children between the ages of 6 and 14. “The market will raise funds for the entire club, not just the minis,” she confirms. The event will include around 20 different vendors including artisans and producers, as well as other activities.

Thiffault says they can accommodate more vendors and are still accepting registrations. For more information, call Thiffault at 514-512-7021. (SR)
