The MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent’s second annual Christmas ornament auction ended on December 11. Bids totalling at least $960 were entered for the 46 holiday decorations that were beautifully painted or festively decorated by local artists. All the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Résidence-Elle du Haut-Saint-Laurent women’s shelter. The winning bidders were contacted by the MRC and now have until December 19 to collect their ornament from the regional government’s Huntingdon offices. (SR)
