The Fédération de l’UPA de la Montérégie inaugurated its new building on January 25, during a brief ceremony including the organization’s directors, local dignitaries, partners, suppliers, and staff.
The new building consolidates the services offered to agricultural producers in the Montérégie-Ouest, such as human resources management, worker recruitment, health and safety and training, as well as accounting and taxation services in collaboration with SCF Conseils Montérégie.
Regional president Jérémie Letellier presented the new building, which he describes as spacious, bright, and modern.
The project represents a $3 million investment. Construction began in October 2022, when the previous building, located on the same lot, was demolished to make way for a parking area. Around 45 employees moved into the new building in September 2023. (SR)
