Huntington’s very first Truck and Car Show took place on July 15 and 16 at the Huntingdon Fairgrounds. Organizer Kevin Dineen explains that the idea came to be when it was announced that there would be no Ormstown car show this year. Though the event happened on the same weekend as various other events in the region, about 150 participants showed off their vehiclesand there was a great audience turnout, especially considering it was the event’s first year. Food and drink vendors were present throughout the day to offer a variety of refreshments. The show did well enough that Dineen has confirmed that Huntingdon will host another next year, with plans to make it even bigger and better than before. (CF)
